Counseling Guide
In the other guides we have the capability to add other items to the guide like collections. The Counseling Guide does not allow for that. Will it be added later?
Logos continues to show why it is the best software for Bible study. Logos 9 is amazing.

That's a great suggestion Joe: we'll add it to our list. Thanks for the positive feedback.

There are no other sections to add at this time. Resources have to be tagged for Counseling themes before additional sections can be created. I do not know Faithlife's plan on this.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I believe the issue is that those are the only sections that work with Counseling Guide keys. You can add more sections to the Passage Guide for example, because you have other guide sections keyed to Bible Passages not included by default in the Passage Guide.

M J - I have a collection titles CCEF - all of the "Journal of Biblical Counseling". I can go into the Topic guide section and add by CCEF collection. Then enter a topic like Depression and it gives me hits in the journal so you may be correct it isn't tagged. But it does work in another guide.

Joe, see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/194964.aspx for a list of the resources we've currently annotated for the Counseling Guide. We'll be adding more, along with links to articles, books, and courses on the web. The Counseling Guide also includes other subjects outside the scope of the Topic Guide (like ADHD).

Thanks Philana for the explanation. Who do I talk to about the fact that the 'Biblical Counseling Keys' by June Hunt but not the Journals of CCEF which I believe are as good or better.
Thanks again

In addition to more Logos resources, we plan to annotate journals and also subject-relevant dictionaries like The Baker Encyclopedia of Psychology and Counseling .
