Caleb, do you know how long this offer will be available?

Bruce,
The Mobile Ed + L9 bonus offer of 2 courses for a total of $99 will be good through at least through the end of 2021.
No pressure, happy library building!
Thanks Ben. That's a good amount of time to think about it. Hopefully I won't forget about it.

To be clear the full feature upgrade will not include this? So I would need to get a Silver package and then it would include the Silver feature upgrade which leaves a few items off out of the Full feature?
The free course is bundled in with a Logos Silver or higher library, not the feature set.
You have two options:
(There are other upgrade options I left out for simplicity’s sake, such as subscribing to FL Connect.)
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!
Of these two options, the first will be less expensive.

Hi, may I ask how did you figure that out?
Hi, may I ask how did you figure that out?The combo discount. You save more buying a library and feature set together than buying them separately.
But they were referring to buying order. We know that buying (A+B) bundle is almost always cheaper than buying them separately. But he was talking about "buying A first, then B later" is cheaper than vice versa.
It is difficult to foreknow the price of B after the purchase of A. So that's why I was asking.
It is as if they reverse engineered the Logos dynamic pricing formula which is something I tried to do.
Since A is a library, and B is a feature set, there would be no overlap, and it wouldn’t matter which order you bought A or B in.
But here, the first option is Silver A+B, and the second is Gold B. Because you paid less for the equivalent items in Gold B due to the combo discount, the final price of Gold B is less than Silver B + Gold B - Silver B.
That’s why Silver A+B + Gold B - Silver B is less than the second option (which was Gold B + Silver A).
It is difficult to foreknow the price of B after the purchase of A. So that's why I was asking.
If A is n% of B, but the cost of buying A is less than n% of B (since A is better discounted), B will cost less by buying A first.
(This is how people tend to save by buying Starter, then Bronze, then Silver, then Gold, rather than immediately buying Gold, because the lower tiers generally have a higher discount than the higher tier.)
It is as if they reverse engineered the Logos dynamic pricing formula which is something I tried to do.
That’s difficult, because item X may be dynamically priced at $0.90 in Starter, but dynamically priced at $0.92 in Bronze.

Are the courses you can select limited? I tried to select the link below and another course but it did not work.

Actually, Petah is right. Right now, given any base package (which includes a library and a feature set), and any other feature set that is a super set of that package's feature set, if the end goal is to own both the library and the larger feature set, it will always be cheaper to buy the library and smaller feature set together in a package first. This is because, as Petah noted, feature sets are significantly cheaper when bought as part of a base package. When bought as part of a base package (right now), there is a 15% discount on the feature set. When the feature set is bought separately, no 15% discount.

The product you linked to is a bundle of two courses.
EDIT: It should work with https://www.logos.com/product/130865/mobile-ed-ot203-literary-world-of-the-old-testament & https://www.logos.com/product/130864/mobile-ed-ot204-social-world-of-the-old-testament, which are the two constituent courses of that bundle.

Thanks so much for the reminder. The first time I saw this I got my two for $99, and it was only the second time I looked at it that I realized I would get a third one for free. I needed three more courses for the New Testament intermediate certificate and I was able to get all three of them for a total of $99. That was a steal. One was $200, one $300 and one $400+. Now when I get the two studies done I have stacked in front of it, I can start earning certificates. Can't wait. Love good sold Bible study. Carla
Great thread. Thanks for the heads up and it being to year end is great. I went ahead and bought Silver and am going to wait to pick the course and bonuses. I did put a reminder in my prayer list so it doesn't slip my mind.
The idea of getting ones that are already in a bundle is very good. I saved a good deal of money by doing that in the past and then completing purchasing a few more when on sale. I have many courses to work through right now-- so I am grateful this is a decision I can postpone a bit.
Apparently, like L8, this isn’t included with Verbum. Well, some that do qualify are in the low 2 digits, so not really a bother
David, I had asked about that and the Logos staffer acknowledged that Verbum didn't have that offer. It was tempered by two things: One was that there are not many Catholic oriented videos at this time to perhaps make it attractive (they did not say that latter part, that is my interpretation), and, two, to off set that, more resources were added into the Verbum Silver packages.
You might look at the Logos Silvers, find either the cheapest one or the one that offers the most resources you might desire for your library and then get the free course from Logos. If I can add-and am reading your comment correctly--I wanted to emphasize ALL courses are eligible for the free course offer. Some are in the three digits, you can pick one of those. I think the only thing off limits would be when several courses are bundled together.
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

Verbum 9 customers who buy Silver and above are eligible to purchase two courses for $99: https://verbum.com/99-course.
Fr. Devin, who posts on the forums, selected Mobile Ed courses he thought would be interesting and useful to Catholics, and we've featured them on the page.
We did not include a course in Verbum 9 packages but instead put in additional Catholic content, so the Verbum packages don't have less than the Logos packages, just different resources.

Where did you find that out? I didn't see it anywhere in the email confirming my purchase. That is an oversight, I think. It should be made more obvious.
I don't recall where I first saw it, Rosie. Someone else had mentioned that two offers do show up on the homepage ads -- the second and third dots.
I did mention to FL that the offer link wasn't in the email, as they had previously done for L8.

It's a large box on the L9 homepage - very obvious for those who go there.
Have joy in the Lord!
Thus the problem for those of us who do not use the homepage. Only here did I find the link for the courses available, etc.
I was so preoccupied with finally getting Carta, I didn’t take the time to notice the Mobile Ed offers on the homepage.

Rosie,
It was our intention from the first moment of releasing L9 to include a link to your L9 Mobile Ed course in your transactional email. Unfortunately, we had a problem with our email template on Monday, Oct. 26., the link was missing. We caught it and corrected it around noon on Oct. 27th. We apologize if there was any confusion.
Charlene, thanks for bringing up this question.
Every customer who purchases a Silver base package or above will eventually receive an app message in their homepage and/or an email detailing these 2 Mobile Ed programs again. We don't want anyone to miss out on these L9 benefits.
Thanks for your patience.
No love for those who bought a Academic Professional Package? :-DRosie,

Michael, here's a facet search link that should return all of the courses that are eligible for the L9 Course program:
You should find many great preaching resources!
