BTW, beta 2 just downloaded to my system.
No April Fool's joke on me at least...
Pretty sparse on new features, but at least they fixed quite a few bugs.
Sometimes you have to just focus on bugs--which means those who were cautious about installing it could probably go ahead and do it without incident.
