Copy Paste in Logos 9
Did anything change between Logos 8 and 9, in terms how it handles Copy and Paste (from a Bible text into a writing app?)

Not that I am aware of - are you seeing any changes?

Sadly, not yet.

This may not be what phrogger is referring to, but it has been addressed before that for some, when you try to paste commentary selections from other software into a MS Word Office 365 document using Ctrl+V, it matches my Normal Style of Arial 10pt font. But, when I do the exact same thing with a commentary selection from Logos it goes to Calibri 11 pt font, even though I have "merge formatting" selected in my options.

It would be nice to be able to choose what font to use in exporting text from Logos to Word. I know that is possible because Accordance allows you to do that. I have been requesting this feature for almost a year. I was hoping that Logos 9 might have it.

I want to be able to:
• Highlight a Bible verse (and have nothing annoying pop up)
• Hit the keyboard shortcut to copy
• Hit the keyboard shortcut to paste and what appears is the verse (or partial verse) I highlighted plus the reference. That is all.
Not being snarky -- dual citizens (Logos and Accordance users) will recognize this feature going back twenty years or so.
Suggested it here two years ago. I can't help see it as another case of Logos addressing exotic features most don't use while ignoring the most basic user interface issues....

Today was my first time using Logos. I was previous Quickverse to Wordsearch to Logos. I could not copy my search and discovered that its not an option without jumping through hoops. Guess I will not be using or upgrading this platform.

Greetings Mike, I do hope your visit to the forums won't be as fleeting as you imply.
Some folk on the forums know a lot about simple ways to get things done.
Any chance of you posting a screenshot of what it was you failed to copy?
You can use the paperclip in the tool bar above to add it to a reply in this thread.

I would hope this topic would be addressed in a not to distant future update. This cannot be a difficult fix. Any text that is copied in Logos should be able to be pasted into Word in the same font it was copied in.
