Wrong Lexicon being used for Factbook
When I use the Factbook to create an article for a word that is in the NT such as Mercy or Angel or Spirit the default Greek Lexicon used Lexham Research Lexicon of the Septuagint and not Lexham Research Lexicon of the Greek New Testament. I cannot figure out how to change this, I even removed the "offending" lexicon from my desktop but that doesn't seem to stop the Factbook from using it. The Septuagint lexicon is not in my prioritized list while the GNT lexicon is.
This does not happen in the iOS or the web app, those work properly.
Any ideas? This is very frustrating.

Seeing the same behaviour. Would like a solution as well

I'm afraid I don't know why this is happening - but wanted to mention that I see the same thing
If I remember correctly, the Key Article has been selected by Faithlife and is not dependent on prioritization. It is very strange that the desktop and mobile apps work differently
Hopefully someone from Faithlife will be able to comment further.

Right, I would think the default should be NT unless it is a word only found in the LXX.Graham Criddle said:I'm afraid I don't know why this is happening - but wanted to mention that I see the same thing

I can duplicate this behavior. It is not correct and I do not know how to fix it. I think it is something FL needs to address. I understand your frustration and hope that it is remedied quickly.

Unfortunately, we detected this bug very late in the beta cycle, and there wasn't a chance to fix it for 9.0. However, this is already fixed internally, and will be coming next week in the beta version of the software, and more broadly available when 9.1 ships.

So I am assuming for L9 you will still be releasing on the six-week cycle?

Thanks for the update, I am really enjoying the new Factbook but this was a problem. I look forward to the fix.

I have a slightly different memory ... the Key Article is selected first from a series of resources selected by Faithlife (all often their own creations) and if an entry is not found it defaults to use priorities of resources.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

This is correct. Except for the "all their own creations" part, which won't be correct for counseling references, and also (if I recall correctly) for some non-English languages.

Thanks MJ and Andrew - that's helpful to get clarified.
