with Bronze can I write sermons?
Hi there, newbie to Logos and this is my first forum post. Delighted with Anglican Bronze Logos 8 package I bought just before Logos 9 came out. But interested to know - how do you prepare your sermons? I can't find a Doc suitable to type script of sermon in. Yes Notes, Clippings, Canvas etc. But it looks like I still need to be actually writing my script in a separate document out of Logos. Is that correct? What do others do? I know that the more expensive packages have a 'sermon' feature - not sure I want to go there yet having just forked out £490!

Can I just say I'm in the UK and the time is nearly 10am - so the time posted here must be stateside or something? [:D]

Hi Ben - and welcome to Logos and to these forums.
Yes, the Sermon Builder feature is available in the Silver Feature Upgrade or higher (or with a Faithlife Connect subscription).
But I totally understand your reluctance to incur additional expense.
You could try using the Notes Tool - or otherwise it would involve writing the Sermon outside of Logos.
Personally I find the capabilities of the Sermon Editor are well worth having, particularly with their integration with other parts of Logos (and the wider set of Faithlife products such as Proclaim). But there are others on the forums who choose to continue using external word processors as they find that works best for them.

I'm also in the UK and see the time of your post as 10:58AM!
If you click Edit at the top right of this page, you will be able to adjust some of your details including timezone. That should change how times are displayed for you.

Hi Graham many thanks for your input, much appreciated! I'm finding at the moment (just spent an hour or two 'distracted' by Bible study) creating many notes. I shall perhaps plan to upgrade to the Silver at an appropriate point!
