The Complete Biblical Library

Hello,

In Wordsearch, CBL was seen as "one" and not several volumes. How can I duplicate this in Logos? Collections don't really get me what I want because I want to be able to link the CBL volume as a single commentary and not have to do a different layout for each book of the Bible. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance!

Hi Keith,

I do not have CBL, but if it is set up as a Logos Research resource you should set up a layout and save it.

Open your Bible, open CBL and link them. Enter a verse in the Bible and CBL will open there regardless of which "book" it is as it should be set up as a series. So just go to layouts and save this and then use it without having to use collections.

You can set a custom "Series" for all the CBL resources in the Info sidebar in the Library. We will also be doing this as part of improving the resources so that they function better in Logos.

Thanks for your response. Is there a way to do a bulk change to add the books to the series or must they be done one at a time?

Yes, you can select more than one in the Library then choose "Set Series for All".

See the screen prrint below. In library search for title:"complete biblical library" Click the circle icon (in red circle) to open information pain. Select all the titles you want in the series, without clicking on the title, somewhere else in the line, and then click on select series for all in info pain, bottom red circle.
