lag time in logos 8

I am having considerable lag time whenever I scroll in any of my bibles or books, or write in a note, or click on a word or even hover over a word. I have had this for a while. I have a Lenovo with a 500gb SSD drive 6gb memory, windows 10 i5 2450m cpu@2.50ghz 85 gb of free space
I reviewed my program settings. I do have yes turned on with regards to the internet.

Jeff, sometimes this can be related to poorly performing visual filters or other markup being applied to the resource. My recommendation is to disable all active visual filters to see if that solves the problem then add the ones you want one at a time.
