Sermon Builder Requests
The sermon editor/builder needed some major revamp, but it seems like it only got a couple of touches. Here's an old thread requesting changes to the sermon builder: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/186839.aspx?PageIndex=2
Will there be more improvements to the sermon builder in the near future?
Thanks!

The #1 for me is making "scripture cards" more usable. If I type in a ref or paste in a scripture it becomes a "card" that only shows the reference without text when tagging for a handout, and it cannot be edited.
We can work around it by typing a space before pasting, but, #1 that limits us to pasting the verse without the use of the autocomplete, and, #2 gets very tedious when importing alot of notes.

In Sermon Builder.... I would love to see a way to use templates. For example.... say I setup a sermon in SB and create a template....
Currently I can't name the template, that I know of.
Currently I can't use the template, that I know of.
I would like to see more format choices - such as space between lines... etc.
I can see where I might want more than one template... such as "sermons", "classes", "personal teachings" etc. and etc.
As it is now.... I don't know why one would create a template... how can one use the template they created?
I do see where SB could become much more than it is... although I think it has a good start.

The Template appears as a Sermon Doc in the Docs menu, if you open it you can change the name by editing the information shown selected below

You can use templates from within Sermon Manager - if you have access to that tool. If you click the Blank Sermon link when adding a sermon, you will see the list of your templates to choose from.

Thanks again Graham. I find myself unlearned in many aspects of Logos.
I do not have sermon manager...... wonder if I can add that feature? Not sure I want to buy a "whole package" though...

Is there any way that I can change the default font size from M to L. I know I can use the slide bar in the app, but that is only good while working in the app. When I go to the Preaching mode to deliver my sermon the font is too small for these old eyes.
I know, I can change the font as I work through the sermon, but it is a hassle to do that when it continually changes back to M. I'm not a programmer, but it seems to me like it should not be difficult to give the user the option to change the default.
That's my 2 cents for what it's worth, but I sure hope this would be done.

James,
I just wanted to make sure you are aware of the font controls within Preaching Mode itself too. I have found that once I click on a font size from the Preaching Mode area, it remembers that setting for future sermons that I open. Do you find the same behavior? I'd be curious if you're seeing the same or not and that might help me determine the best next steps. Thanks.
