Help! Intertext section of Bible Books Explorer keeps searching wrong bible

The intertext section of the Bible Books Explorer keeps searching the CSB when I click on a bible book instead of my top prioritized bible (NRSV). I keep having to change the bible in the search results window to the NRSV. I've even tried to run a few simple searches in fresh search windows in the NRSV to get it to switch over to my last searched bible, but it insists on searching the CSB when I click on anything in the intertext panel. How do I make it stop doing this?

    I don't know!

For me I am getting the ESV where my highest prioritised Bible is the NIV

Wow, well at least it's not just me. smh

I changed my preferred Bible and tried this, and it still went to my old preference. I restarted and now it's going to my new preference. Does this resolve the problem for you Kiyah?

Yes it did. I had actually just done that and was coming back to the forums to update that restarting fixed it. Hopefully this quirk can be fixed in a subsequent update.

By design, actually. It’s using the last setting of the panel. The search link in the interactive doesn’t set the resource in the search because (other) users get frustrated, eg, if you wanted the Greek NT but I keep forcibly setting it to your preferred Bible. Plus, many of these intertext sets have Catholic Bible refs in them, so we’d be selecting the top Bible that had all the results, which sometimes wouldn’t be your preferred, or we’d always set your preferred and (always) lose some results. This way puts you in control, at the expense of some annoyance when the last Bible you searched wasn’t the one you wanted.

... and to be clear, you shouldn’t have to change your preferred Bible, just the resource parameter in the Search panel.

I figured this was the case, which is why I tried running a couple of fresh searches in the NRSV and then trying the intertext search again, but it still kept searching the CSB (tried two or three searches in the NRSV before running the interext and it still didn't switch). I totally get what you're saying but it doesn't seem to actually be working the way you describe. If my last search was in the NRSV before I ran the next intertext search, why did it kept reaching back to the CSB? I certainly hope y'all didn't intend for me to have to restart the software to get it to switch to the bible I want.
