Factbook issue
Factbook is freezing up on my screen. The mouse barely scrolls and the text doubles as part of the original doesn't scroll and part does. I can change to a different saved layout with no Factbook and everything is back to normal. I even have a saved layout with just 1 Bible and Factbook and get the same results.
I have a new laptop. HP Spectre X360 with the 11th Gen processor and 16 gigs of Ram so not sure what the issue could be. Not that it matters but I have very fast Wi-Fi as well and I have uninstalled and reinstalled Logos 9 twice already. No problems like this on Logos 8.

Mickey, welcome to the Forums.
Have you checked to see if you get this behavior with any other tools or guides?
I have a much less capable computer and have not had issues.
Hopefully someone from FL will be able to help.

Hi Mark, thanks for the quick reply. I checked around and it looks like notes is messed up as well. When I click on my notes tab they load super slow and nothing happens when you click from note to note. Forget scrolling through them.
I wonder is there an issue with me having an 11 Generation processor in my laptop?

?? I hope not. I think FL tries to check its software on every new generation of processors and operating system upgrades.
To me it seems like a graphics processor issue. Do you have a separate graphics processor, and if so, is it set to be used with Logos?

Mickey, if this problem persists (once downloading and indexing is complete), i suggest you contact our customer support: that's the most likely way to resolve your problem.

This laptop has Iris Graphics so it is shared graphics and I don't think I have changed any settings since I got it a couple weeks ago from Best Buy.

I think you should follow Sean's advice and contact Customer Service. Hopefully they can help. Sorry.

I've been very careful after each install to let the indexing take its sweet time to complete before doing anything. I'm currently on the phone with support now. I hope I get someone who understands my issue. I have 2 laptops. This 15.6 with the brand new 11th gen processor and a 13.3 with a 10th gen processor. Both HP Spector X360 4K resolutions and the 13.3 is even OLED! The 13.3 works fine but this 15.6 is not working in notes or Factbook.

Great choice of computers, Sean! I have the 13 with a 10th gen and Iris graphics (purchased about a year ago) since I travel and need something small. My wife just received the 15 with a 10th gen. and NVIDIA graphics. Each with OLED displays and 1TB SSD’s. These have been excellent computers! I hope you get the issues worked out soon.

Everyone, I talked to support and did some tests to no avail. I called back and got someone who remoted in and actually saw what I am talking about. With no idea how to correct the issue she was able to get the Error Logs (previously mentioned) so we shall see where this gets me in a few days or so.
Thanks for all the help and I'll report back if an update gets me up and going.

Sean Boisen, My factbook is not linking up to my new testament research book, it is somehow linking to my new testament research Septuagint whenever I perform a search in factbook. Also, it's not pulling up my bible sense lexicons or commentaries (like in your video). I have over 9,000 books so that's not the problem and I called Logos and one of the techs performed the same searches as I did.....they had the same problems. Do you know about this bug?? and when is a fix coming out???

This issue is fixed in the current beta of Logos 9.1 and so will be available generally when 9.1 ships to the stable channel (probably in three weeks or so)

Before Robert starts a new thread I have a question. Are you on a new computer that is running the new 11th generation intel processors?
My issues are still not fixed and tech support has remoted into my PC, downloaded my logs, videoed the screen while the errors are happening, and even used my profile to try and reproduce but can't. They have received other complaints from 11th gen users which does help narrow this down.
I'm trying to get rolled back to Logos 8 but that is a no-go so far.

Robert, i second Graham's comment: i don't understand enough about what you're trying, what's happening, and how it falls short. Can you provide more details please? (screenshots often help)
