Sermon Builder paragraph spacing
Is it possible to control the paragraph spacing in Sermon Builder? I like to format my sermons in a line by line almost outline format, but the large space between paragraphs results in many many pages if there is a space between paragraphs. This is true when I export a sermon to a rtf file for printing as well. I can manually force single spacing after exporting, but that is a ton of extra work.
I would like to have the paragraph spacing minimized, if not eliminated so as to make printing less wasteful and reduce page turns!

I'm not sure if this will help, but, if you need cotrol over scripture text and the "scripture cards" are stopping you, Type any text (I use a space) before pasting in your scripture. This will stop keep Logos from generating the "card" and you should be able to format to your hearts content.
Greater scripture control is one of the things being voted on the feedback forums as well, if you want to vote for it0 -
It's the actual sermon text, not the verses I'm hoping to change the paragraph spacing on.

What do you mean by a large amount of linespace? Can you send us a screenshot? I'm not seeing this on mine.
You can also export the text and format it however you want.

Here is an example of the double line spacing:

If I have go export, and reformat every line to be single spacing to keep from doubling the page count, I don't see the point in using Sermon editor over Word or OneNote.

The advantage is that your sermon content will be indexed and show up in your logos passage guide in the future. I write my sermon in Word (for printing) then copy and paste into Sermon builder for the archive/retrieval abilities.

Ok, personally I don't see that as very much extra line space at all but a standard for spacing between paragraphs. PERSONALLY, I do not want this to change.danwdoo said:I think your use case is likely outside of the normal use of most users. However there are two routes you can take. One, export the text and format for printing how you please as suggested earlier. OR, I believe the Notes Tool might have better line spacing. Then at least your sermon would still be indexed.

Just to clarify that your request is for spacing BETWEEN paragraphs, because the new preach mode does have a display option for single space. (But that doesn't do you much good if you're looking for a print option)

Yes, I am referring to the space between paragraphs. I write my sermons in a bullet type format and so have every sentence on separate lines. I'm not asking that the default Sermon Builder behavior eliminate this space, but just that there is a control for new paragraph spacing that can be set to half or none. Currently there is the 'Normal' style. All that would be needed would be a new style that does not have the space between paragraphs.

I like the way it is now, with the extra space. It helps me find my place when I glance down at my sermon notes. If there is a change to this characteristic, then my request is that it is a formatting option, not a hard-coded feature.

I agree with "danwdoo", especially when viewing my sermon on an Android Tablet. SMALL text is 3.5 mm high on the tablet, and the spacing between lines is 17 mm.

I agree with "danwdoo" as it is too loose and needs to have the option to tighten it up for print view.
