Mine is just over 8,000. I assume this is about average but wanted to see the size of your library to compare..
Thanks!

Greetings Rodney - you inspired me to do a quick calculation.
I reckon that my library would be about 235 meters long if it was in print.
I cant do that reverse calculation... LOL.. How many books do you have if you dont mind me asking? Maybe the size of ones library is a private matter? If so forgive me for asking..
2744 Logos Books at the Moment...a bit more than my printed Books :-)
I cant do that reverse calculation..
I took a 30 cm ruler and measured a random section of my print library. 13 books.
So the approximate size (largeness) of my library is ≈ ((30÷13)x10162)÷100 meters.
As you see the number of resources in my library is 10162 not including features and datasets etc.
19,000 volumes
Wow.. 19,000 [:O]
9920 for me. But I would say that more is not necessarily better. More requires more... certainly more work to harness, utilize and tag effectively. You can easily miss the trees for the forest, even though no trees are physically harmed in the acquiring of our resources 😛.
I have 4,365 books collected over the past 6 years of using Logos.
Wow! I got Logos about a month ago and I have 835 resources. I’m nowhere near some of the posters here lol. Not sure if I’ll get that high. Logos can still be very overwhelming to use but I enjoy learning how to use the software.
Total 25,513
23,315 Logos Research editions
1,514 Logos ebook editions
684 User Created editions
I am not on my laptop, but I know I have between 10,000 and 11,000, not counting what is coming over from WordSearch.
I also tag as I add new resources. Helps me find things easier.
Thanks, Carla
There are some substantial investments in libraries being shown here.
May I appeal to the owners to identify a worthy recipient in the event of the owner being called from this dimension.
Make sure one knows who one's library is to be bequeathed to and make sure that information is recorded in one's will.
Faithlife are very accommodating in this regard. I guess they (reverse) inherit customers this way.
My library lists 7,106 resources. Can't believe I got there so quickly.
Excellent advice. Some libraries would be valued at more than the price of a new car.
[:^)]
My grandson gets all 20,711. There will be more if the Lord chooses to keep me on this planet and as pastor. Some days I feel the tI need an intervention to cure me of this addiction [:P]
By Mike's formula (and Wolfram Alpha's handy reference tools), my 19k resource library is 1.4 times the height of the Eiffel tower.
I don't know, but it sure takes up a lot less space than my print one.
If I get rid of print books because I now have them in Verbum, does that mean my Verbum library is negative-sized? [:P]
Mine is just a couple inches wide on an SSD.

I have my will all set up to be able to pass along my library one day. Our church had 8 regional universities in the USA and in my will my library is to be given to a graduating senior in the religion department of the regional university that is the closest to us, however the religion department decides.
my library is a little shy of 40,000 books.
5564 and I have been buying resources for only about 4 years. I downloaded L6 for free in 2014 and didn't start buying anything for about 2 years and finally started out buying small base packages and have finally worked my way up to the Platinum with my L9 upgrade.
Total of unhidden books: 27,113
And there is no easy way of counting hidden books, but I have thousands of those. I paged down through all my hidden books, counting pages at 7 titles per page and got up to 200 pages worth (1400 titles) and was still in the middle of the A's. I hid nearly all the Perseus titles (>1000) and the Library of Early English History (>25,000) and Library of Early American History (~5000), because they were mostly clutter.
and the Library of Early English History (>25,000) and Library of Early American History (~5000), because they were mostly clutter.
I had forgotten getting and hiding those. They were a real disappointment.
I hid nearly all the Perseus titles
What many thought was a great idea when first available, turned out to be a nightmare the likes we had not seen before. I'm sure those kept a few customer service people busy taking back those licenses [;)]
I too once had the Perseus collection. Rather then spend my time hiding them, when I decided they weren't for me, I called up customer service and they locked them up so I didn't have access to them any more. Problem solved.
The resource number is 19,771. Since there are books that have already been paid for and haven't been released yet, that ups it a bit.
At least what's overdue in my library is not my headache[8-|]
6,220
About 14,000 books
14 000 plus [:)]
Wish I could backup my training videos and audio
Does anybody know the file extension format for video and audio resources?
after seeing how many more you guys have, i feel less guilty. mine 3,477.
My library is about 5700 volumes. Most of the choices were intentional based on seminary training, interest, denominational affiliation, and hard-copy replacement though I've picked up a few in denominational collections that offer little and that I have little interest in. My wife encouraged me to get rid of the heavy, hard copy books, and was supportive of electronic versions... to a point.
All I see are just bunch of money you guys could've saved. [:#][:P]
All I see are just bunch of money you guys could've saved.
My physical library is still larger than my electronic library. Were I to have saved the "bunch of money" you see, my life would have been poorer, my knowledge narrower, and my curiosity stunted. Put another way, I found the Early English Library well worth the cost for the psalters alone. The sermons have been a bonus. The non-religious materials are relegated to the cloud.
I can’t speak for all, but for me that would be a flat lie. I wouldn’t have those money now. I would spend them somewhere else.
Actually, without Perseus my library has 5,709 resources
They are a lot. I hope the sampling is biased as people have more books tends to answer and those who has less are too shameful to say.
I‘m the later one and all I can say is I ranked almost the last so far.
And even if you bought them at great deals, the libraries you have is approaching the cost of a decent used car to some cheap new car...
There is no shame in having a small library. Just as having a larger library does not make you anymore spiritual or faithful or bring you more honour. We all have different interests and need, come from different circumstances and are in different seasons of our lives.

When I first saw the question, I wondered " what is the least you could spend (or volumes) and still get to heaven?" I assume it'd be touch and go .... 'silver I have none??', and full feature or just rented? Would Peter notice you're counting Perseus, rationalizing it has lots of greek/latin examples (but no aramaic for Peter).
The correct answer is of course 'none' ... apparently the early church did quite well with just the 'good news'. But modern times demand more. I looked back at my misbegotten life, and believe best is a preferred Bible, maybe a BKC, plus an IVP backgrounds. After that a devotional(s). The rest is fluff. Ha.
I like your points.
How do you see how many boks you have? I must have come really far in usage of logos since I even cant point that out. But now I need to know how much do I have...
My Logos library is currently 27, 560. I don't care to count my print books.
How do you see how many boks you have?
I go for quality over quantity [H] No Perseus or other distractions to slow down searches.
I think I got 2728. I just got this, haven't a clue how to use it yet. But been wondering, I really could just stick to E-Sword and strong word, and have just as much joy with the simplicity of the gospel, the very good news about the new life and the kingdom. When the china had the bigger persecutions against the Christian, there where no big library, and many had not even seen a bible before, but they had the holy spirit and the praise to Him. Some died and some ended in prison for 20 years with hard suffering for Christ, without any bible. Yet, how they shined with the glory of Christ in the mitts of their suffering. Not hard to see how affected they where by Christ and he's move inside of them.
Books and resources are nice, but can as well be a trap. On the other side, we have got a lot from books and the history, and by others digging, and we thank them. But all the books and Christians tv show does not necessary makes us closer to Him. Funny this thing. Lets not put any doubt on sermons. Their good, necessary, and very encouraging, its Gods work at He's will. But when God speak very personally to me, He always point me to something I personally read in the bible, not so often about what another preacher said one time. I just wanted to emphasising the importance of eating Gods word, its food. And I eat for my own cause, just as I eat my daily bread. Taking care of me that way.I just think we should remember does facts, without the holy spirit where lost, even in our study, with this tool. With just a touch on the key, we can search for terms and other stuff, where in past we had to heavily lean on by faith for our answers. Must this not get lost in this tool... Sorry if I'm ignorant about this tool, its just so new to me.Lets pray for and with each other right now, in this place, so we can use this tool as it should be used. I'll bless you, and you bless me, and lets join a blessing ring of fire between us... Its a strong effect in a righteous mans prayer and blessings, and by faith where just as righteous as any in the old and new testament because of Christ scarifies. By faith on Christ alone and he's wonderful name Jesus, he declare us righteous, as a free gift. Later on he circumcised our heart as a seal on that faith we just had, just as he did with Abraham. Oh, how precious He is against us.I'll just bless you all in here, and pray that God will open up our eyes so we can grasp our realities about us in Christ, and the inheritance we he have been given in Christ. And to share this good free gift as God has freely given us, so other can get some heavenly food, give them food. So many starving because they do not eat the food or the right kind of food, or the food for the right time, the word of God. And help us to never let go of the living dependant faith, just to replace it with just a keyword search. Help us with that balance in Jesus name. Amen!
Agree with you Hugo. Balance is important. Keeping the scriptures front and centre to all that we do with this tool and the writings of others, we need to keep coming back to the scriptures and not replace them with our Logos Libraries. And we need the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives so much more than our Logos libraries. At the same time God in his providence has gifted and worked in the lives of those who have written these books, of those who created this software and we should be thankful in his providence he had brought it into our lives as a tool through which we can carry on the work of his Kingdom in this particular time and place. Why is and not those in our same time in other places? I don’t have the answer but let’s respect it’s proper place and use our Logos Libraries wisely and discerningly if we do have them.
To God be the glory!

Library of Early American History (~5000), because they were mostly clutter.
OT alert!
Wow, I've had just the opposite experience with these (though if you are not from the USA you might not have as much interest). I have found great sermons, tracts on both political and religious issues, profiles of religious movements and ideas, a lot of fascinating history from the American Civil War period, etc. My Quakerism collection is formed almost exclusively from the American History Collection, as one example of the usefulness of this collection to me.
One person's gold is another person's dross, I suppose. I did tag all these (as I did with Perseus) so I can exclude them from my searches and from browsing in Library when I don't want to see them.
It certainly might not, but my library of 8,500-ish was mostly obtained through large bundles which were the cheapest way of obtaining a much smaller number of resources I had on my wishlist.
Plus there are a huge number of freebies (4 a month plus a large number of permanent ones, plus things like Themelios which aren't all totally free, but years worth of recent issues are free with a voucher code that is automatically applied when getting them from the Themelios site). There are also some resources which might be published as a single book but Logos breaks them up into a bundle of separate resources - so e.g. I think Philip Comfort's The Text of the New Testament from Earliest Greek Manuscripts would be one book in print, but it's dozens of separate resources in Logos (one for each manuscript) - there are similar collections elsewhere that inflate the number beyond what people less familiar with how Logos resources work might expect.
The point is that the number can go up surprisingly fast in a number of different ways.
My Logos library is 9,771. But these books were purchased slowly, but pretty consistently, since about 1991. There are many Logos users with much larger libraries.
I have 8,604 resources acquired over many years. Every one of the them is tagged.
