Logos not opening

Hi all,

I need some assistance. I logged in to my Mac this morning Sydney, Aust time. Logos says it's starting the app, then nothing happens. How to I reinstall without having to load my library up again?

Tried turning off wifi and connecting, does not work, so not a wig problem.

Upgraded to Logos 9 last week. Running the latest version of Mac software.

Mac, 2020 Mac Pro 13 inch. 8 megs Ram.

Worked all last week.

Other software works fine.

Shut down completely 4 times, restarted same problem.

I've seen this problem multiple times in the past. It may not be the same way with you, but very often the software is simply not fully loading into memory. Terminate the app and restart. You might have to do it more than once until it finally loads. When it does, turn off all the usual Logos features like loading last layout and automatic update. These cause Logos to hang on startup and fully load. You can go back to these features later, but I want to help you get up and running again.

This usually is something that shouldn't plague a better machine and newer version, but it can. The current MacOS still siphons RAM and that might be an underlying issue because you need RAM to fully load a big program like Logos.
