BUG: Cannot erase highlights

Logos 9.1 beta 1 Mac OS 10.15.7

Selecting a portion of text containing a highlight and typing Cmd-Shift-K does not remove the highlight. Additionally, selecting the text and clicking the Erase button in the Highlighting panel will not remove the highlight.

Could only remove the highlight by locating the note and deleting it.

I've just tried using the same software build - but on Windows 10 - and Ctrl-Shift-K worked fine.

So it could be a Mac-specific issue.

But is it possible you were looking at a Corresponding Highlight, not one in the actual resource you were looking at?

No. I had intended to highlight a single word, but the text moved as I selected the word, so I had highlighted several words instead.

In trying to reproduce this, I did find a tricky bug that happens when you float the panel with the highlighting. Did you by any chance "float" the panel (either from kebab menu or Option-Cmd-F on Mac)?

Other than that, I can't reproduce the problem. Can you list out the steps -- what panel you are highlighting in, and such -- or make a screenvideo or snapshot(s)?

It was the main Logos window in multiple resource view. In this screenshot, I tried erasing the pink highlighting in 1 Samuel 2:22, set from the KJV.

Deleting the note was the only way to remove the highlight.
