Two different links on a note title? Is this a bug?
I just found something interesting while looking at the notes in my No Notebook folder. In the screenshot below, look at the note with the ? icon for October 10. If I point to any part of the phrase, October 10, it opens a preview/excerpt of Connect the Testament devotional for Oct 10 (and further opens that resource if I click on the note in that area. But if I point to MUHH, it opens a preview of My Utmost for His Highest (and also opens it if I click there).
I can't recall the steps I took on Oct 10th when I was reading these devotionals, but it's likely that I had opened a panel and had read both of these devotionals in one session. But I find it strange that when I added the "?" that the internal note linked to CT:365 as well as MUHH. Is this normal, or have I possibly uncovered a bug in the software?

what anchors does it have?
Oh, and I'll add that since I posted this, I've upgraded to Logos 9 Gold. I tested just now to see if this is still occurring after the upgrade, and it is.

Hi Sharon
I've looked into this and it does look very strange.
It seems to me that hovering over the date part of the anchor in the Notes Tool links to your highest prioritised devotional while hovering over the second part of the anchor links to the devotional you actually made the note against.
I think you will find the same behaviour with other similar notes (notes taken against a devotional).
It, in some ways, seems a nice feature but I think it's a bug!
Can you confirm what I am seeing, maybe experimenting with changing prioritisation levels of one of your devotionals?

First, I did NOT have a devotional prioritized. So I added "Morning and Evening" by Spurgeon.
Then, I went to Thoughts for the Quiet Hour for November 9th and anchored a note to the word, "Psalmist."
From there, I went into the actual note that had been created and it's doing exactly the same thing. If you hover on or click November 9th, it opens Morning and Evening. But hover or click on anything else and it opens TQH.
So either they've programmed it this way or it's a bug because I can easily duplicate it. It's not a big deal to me now that I know what's going on. But maybe it needs reporting? I'll leave that to you. Thank you again for your help!

Fair enough - in which case Logos would be using its default prioritisation scheme

Thanks, that confirms my thinking about what is happening.

Personally I think it's a bug and I've flagged it at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/196128/1134252.aspx#1134252
