Logos on new 2020 macs
will logos work on those machines right away or are logos not quiet there yet?

Given they’re out so recently, I guess the first question is whether anybody has had the opportunity to test it.

Early access was given to developers on Mac Minis. They have had them for some months.

I would like to hear from FaithLife whether if we were to buy one of these new Macs if we could run Logos on it or not? My son-in-law's Mac went down two days ago and I thought about giving him my Mac and ordering another one. But I wouldn't want to do that unless I was confident that Logos would run on the new Macs! I think we should have a statement from FaithLife sooner rather than later.

I agree. I would be very interested in the new Mac mini but would like a statement soon about running Logos on the new M1 chip and Big Sur.

You may want to keep track of Gregory's experience here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/196159/1134528.aspx#1134528 Looks like he should have a MacBook Air running the M1 chip pretty soon.

Anyone who is interested in a new Mac for Logos purposes would be well advised to wait for official pronouncements from FL.

We have done some testing on the new Hardware, as much as we have been able. My focus has been on testing macOS 11.0 on a VM.
