After selecting a portion of text in a Resource and then clicking the 3 dot icon, the Menu that opens up no longer shows the Print/Export option. Please advise. Thank you.

It's showing for me on Logos 9 SR-2, macOS 10.15.7--

Could you post a screenshot and Logos and OS specs.?

The title is confusing. It should read Print/Export not found in Resource menu as the Context menu comes from a right click of selected text.

If you don't select text do you see Print/Export in the Resource menu?

Thank you, Dave, for the title correction. I didn't know what the 3 dot icon was called after text selection.

Yes, I see Print/Export in the Resource menu but not after I have selected text from the same Resource and then click on the 3 dot menu (whatever it's techincally called).

Many - even FL people here in the forum - call it "kebap menu".

could you share a screenshot? It works for me, with selected text (and printing the selected text)

And just to keep it interesting - kebap is sometimes kebab and kabobhttps://wikidiff.com/kabob/kebab . I just think of 3 pieces of meat on a skewer, compared top the "hamburger" menu which is the 3 horizontal lines.

    Terminology clarification:

    • We call the "three dots" in the upper right of a panel the "panel menu". (This is not officially known as the "kebab menu" or similar.)
    • The menu that appears when you make a selection is called the "Selection Menu". This also has a "three dots" icon; clicking it opens the "context menu" (which can also be accessed by right-click in a resource).

I don't remember if we ever had "Print/Export" on the context menu; if we did, it may have been removed when we redesigned the context menu in 8.x. To access it, use the Panel Menu, or press Ctrl+P/Cmd+P.

    None even in L7.

But .... Libby did in her right-click menu. Libby always wins ... joking (quietly).

I just found the why of my issue.

I was right-clicking my mouse to get the Context Menu (while my cursor was on the highlighted resource selection) which Menu does not offer the Print/Export option (as it does on the kebap icon of the resource itself).

I have also come to realize, to my chagrin, that I assumed I had clicked on a kebap icon while executing this process which icon in fact doesn't exist (a feature I constantly use). My bad.

Thank you all for your patience and assistance.

BTW, I have been a Logos user since it was first introduced in the 90s.

The popup does state "this Panel's menu", which is more generic than my "Resource menu". But we do have problems elsewhere e.g. the "three dot" Help menu or App/Application menu  (popup shows "Help"), and the new Account or Profile menu (popup says "Account").
