The installation of Logos Bible Software did not succeed (update from 8.11 to latest version on 4/28
When I opened Logos Bible software, it tries to update to the latest version plus download & update my books and then I get the message in a popup window saying:
"The installation of Logos Bible Software did not succeed."
I have tried closing and opening several times with the same result.

Now I am getting the following error:
Error writing to file:
C:Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Logos\Pending\app-ms-win-core-processthreads-l1-1-0.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory.0 -
Delete the folder C:Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Logos\Pending
Then try a manual update from https://www.logos.com/install
If you still have problems, upload logs (the compressed zip folder), using the paper-clip icon.

I realize this is an old post, but I have a similar question. I was running out of space on my OS hard drive, so I moved Logos onto my secondary hard drive. Logos runs fine, but I get the same error message. Also, when I changed it over to the other hard drive was at Logos 8.14 and it has not updated since. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you by any chance have a Windows 10 update awaiting a restart?
