I just read Graham's suggestion about the app update, and that fixed the issue for me. When I updated my Logos app, now I can see Preaching Mode and the timer feature on my iPad. Community for the win!

That's good news.

Editing in the Sermon Builder has been requested for some time in the mobile app, but for now we don't have it.
I am trying to use the new Preaching Mode. The problem:
When I run through my sermons ahead of time (I usually practice it 2-3 times), I make changes on the fly by making notes on my paper. Then I go back and make those changes and print another copy. I cannot do that if I use my iPad.
Do you have any advice on how to work around this limitation? I want to make a change while I am practicing and then move on.

The only way we can do this at the moment - when without access to the Logos desktop - is to use the web app.

Hi Jerry
I place my sermon in Pages so that I can edit when I am practising.
Having it in pages also allows one to use the built-in 'Presentation Mode'. I find using this 'teleprompter' facility very useful while we are producing online services.

What Logos 9 base package do you have? Access to preaching mode, requires the Silver feature set or higher.

Thanks Will
I have the Logos Gold package.
So you should have access to the feature. What version of the mobile app are you using?
Can you post a screenshot (using the paperclip icon in the forum editor) showing a sermon doc on your iPad?

when I go to the app store to find Logos 9, I only find the version of Logos I currently have. Therefore, the only option provided is “Open” rather than “Buy or download”.

What version of the app do you have? You can find this in the Help section of the menu that appears when you tap the three horizontal lines at the bottom of the app
And what version of iOS do you have?
I'm wondering if you are running an older version of iOS that doesn't support the Logos 9 app

Hi Graham,
I just discovered I need iOS 13.0 or higher. It appears my iPad can only run up to iOS12.5.
I will have to purchase an iPad that can run iOS 13.0 and above. Thank you for your support.

Have you tried using your web browser instead of Logos? On your computer, in the Sermon Editor, click the Preach button next to the Publish button. It will open the sermon in whatever web browser you use. Copy the link and send it over to your iPad. That link will always link to that sermon, so if you go back and edit on your computer, you can let Logos sync, and then refresh the browser window, and your sermon will update. It will control your slides, as well.

When I use Proclaim, I'm able to mark up the slide -- underline, draw, highlight -- very useful for the way I typically preach. Is this available in Preaching Mode, or are their plans to incorporate this function?
