I assume any Android OS, is as good as another? But what would I know?

But does Logos/Faithlife recommend any as better?

My recommendation would be an updated one, for the tablet to have at least Android 9 to make sure you have support for at least a couple of years with the app, I'm planning to buy this one for the 4Gb of Ram

A lot will depend on what you intend to put on your tablet. I want to have a lot of memory for lots of Logos books and worship music. I consider 64GB very baseline. Get the very latest Android OS so it will be useful longer. Investing more so you can use it for a couple more years makes a lot of sense. Make it work for you for the duration.
