Never mind. Didn’t see this second page.

Please re-mind this post: A sad update!

Apparently under "Device Care" Samsung has some sort of optimization. I thought this was ruled out actually as counter productive/intuitive to make an Android phone open, close, and re-open apps all the time draining the battery and system resources "taking out the trash" too often only to have to go back through the trash to use an app or service and actually cause the phone to lag on Android to accomplish this all in the name of optimizing.!??! Plus Samsung has its own UI on top of Android. I was told its skin was optimized now and would not drag my phone down. However, I'm beginning to think Samsung's philosophy is entirely not well thought out here. Most third party cleaners are almost considered viruses bc of this, yet this is built-in. I again wish they had a single setting for Logos app to not mess with it. I hope I have now fixed it finally!

Anyway, I do suspect this is the culprit. This is my first Samsung purchase. Does any other Samsung user have a fix for this? Is this what keeps jamming Logos? What is the work around?

    I have accomplished two things:

    1) I told it to never put Logos to sleep.

    2) I told it to never clean Logos.

Upon doing #1, I had use of Logos for a lot longer until it started crashing again making me think the issue was resolved hence the above post. I then noticed Logos' storage according to the phone was around 240 mb meaning it somehow cleaned my library. So, I found out how to do #2 now. I was forced to clear cache and data and start over. I will now re-upload my library a 5th time. Is there anything else I need to do? I wish it had an option to leave apps alone and I would check that setting!

Sorry, Theo, we have been having an unusually high number of calls and emails to answer.  We are investigating this issue now.

    Thanks!

I think I may have figured it out. Apparently a Samsung optimizer was putting Logos to sleep. I switched the settings to Logos always on and it appears to be working now.

Please see the post immediately above this one for an update.

My internet is fine. I can do video chat meetings galore with no issues.

OK, but have you tried different internet sources? Are you working behind a firewall? VPN?

I didn't have these issues on my previous devices. I suspect it is Samsung as in the newer posts I have provided.

Again, I can use the internet with no issues so I feel this is not the core issue.

I'm still having the issues. Does anyone out there with a Samsung phone  have a workaround?

I think finally found the settings to toggle off what's been deleting Logos! Pray it works!

What I can't understand  is why my resources from my library  are stored in the cache and not the app's data? Does this matter? How can I change it?

I don't know anything about it, and can't test since I am an iOS only user.

My <first> thought is that downloaded resources would be in the app data, and "cloud" resources would be in the cache.

As one can see in the screenshot, the resources I downloaded are in the cache and not data.
