I just got the Platinum Upgrade in Logos 9
... but I am not noticing any real difference in my software. Is it because all it did was unlock books for me since:
1. I had already purchased the full features upgrade
2. Automatic downloading in my software is turned off - I download resources only as I am going to use them to conserve hard drive space, so there's no reason for anything to change?
3. Should the Base Package Library in my "about Logos" page say anything other than "Logos 9 Library"?
If yes, then how can I go about seeing what has changed since now when I go the Platinum product page of course, it says "Already owned" in front of everything?
See what I mean?
Thanks!

Yes - if you already had the full features upgrade, all the Platinum package would have added was resources

That setting means you won't see more books being downloaded - they should be visible in your library but as cloud resources (at least I think so, I'm not sure of the impact on that setting on this)

No - that is all it says

I'm not sure I do. With the only change being new resources and you having disabled new resources being downloaded you won't really see any difference.
If I am missing your point, please advise.

Sigh... and now, I've managed to "Permanent Delete" the email I got from Logos thanking me for my purchase and telling me the code for my free MobileEd course... help anyone? Or is it an individual code for each person? My email is in my profile should it be something that ought not to be shared on the entire group if you want to send it to me that way.
Thanks, all! In fairness to me, I'd only had ONE early-morning coffee when I did it... [H]

I don't believe the email included a code - just a link to a website https://www.logos.com/redeem-course
What happens if you access that site?

The software features of Logos won't use your books unless they are downloaded. But your Library count should tell you that you have more books, and you should see them listed. Select some resources that you want, right-click and choose Download.
EDIT: if you have automatically start downloads = NO, then you will have to OK that and download all the books, unless (and I've never tried it) you first set Download New Resources to NO, and then you might be able to control which resources to download as above.

Thanks Dave... yes, later my library finally showed I had added new books (to the tune of about 200 of them, woohoo!).
I've also been able to go start looking for my free course with the link and coupon.
Thanks folks!

Oooh... and after much searching and gnashing of teeth, tee hee, I chose Bryan Litfin's "Western Civilization: Greeks to Aquinas". Looking forward to getting to that at some point. [:D]
Thanks Logos for adding real VALUE to the money we spend! God bless you!
