Okay, I'll admit my experience is with Vedic not Greek but a text comparison becomes meaningless when accents are taken into account between an accented and unaccented texts. It's like saying the text differs because one is in Arial and the other in Garamond. I would expect that accents be ignored in comparison with an unaccented text and considered only if both texts include accents. A further expectation: in comparing liturgical texts I would expect the differences in accent between polytonic and montonic orthography to be ignored.
