I'm a new user. My Macbook Air is running out of space. I didn't know that Logos downloads the entire library to your computer. (1) I have an iCloud account with extra storage, can I move my files to iCloud? If so, how? (2) Is there a way to delete the books, etc. that have been downloaded; at least until I need them?

In Library, select the books you don't want  e.g. click the first and shift-click the last (don't click on the Title). You can use control-click to add individual resources. Then right click one and select "Remove from this device".

Translate my Windows keyboard 'clicks' to Mac.

NICE! Thanks! Done. But, now if I go to search for something, is it going to search my library since the library is not downloaded?

You will still see them in Library but they they will not be used outside Library, except that there is a section called Library (Cloud) in Basic Search. Keep that closed and it will not be used.

In Library, open the Sidebar and go down to Devices where you can select resources that are not on the device.

EDIT: if you have removed a hundred or more books you can save more space with the command  Rebuild Index (in the GO Box) - it will take some time. But the books will be re-indexed if you re-download some of them.

    Hi Bryan

Just in case you missed it?

The setting 'Optimise Mac Storage' can help with nearly full hard discs.

You can also consider a less than complete install by reinstalling logos altogether after deleting it entirely, restarting your computer, and choosing a minimal or intermediate installation. I don't know how big your library is or how big your drive is, but if you have a kind of skimpy drive, this might work better for you. Most of the time, you really don't use everything or even a fraction of it, so this is worth considering.

So tempted to say 'Try tidying your desk!' but I won't

instead I will say that almost all my stuff is actually stored on icloud and it has never caused me a problem.
