Is There Any Way to....?

What I'd like to do is to have a set of resources open for devotionals, & a reference set of resources open for Study.

The devotional set of resources would consist of several devotionals from my library & one Bible, for reference checking.

The reference set of resources would consist of several Bible translations, a lectionary, & a commentary.

So, on Logos Mobile, is there any way to:

  1. Have more than two layouts, so I don't have to manually open a different set of resources for each one?
If not, I'll look for a non-Logos way to do the devotionals, as I use the reference set often enough that when I need it I really don't want to have to recreate it.
  2. Any way to adapt the Quickstart layouts on the home screen to approximate what I want?

Failing either of those options (I'm expecting a negative answer), is anyone DOING anything similar that has a method they'd be willing to share?

Grace & Peace,
Bill

I don't do what you want.... but here is what I do do on my Android phone...

I build a Sermon Builder (on my computer) out of what I want to use listing verse references, things I want to say in outline mode.  I go over it until I understand it and know it pretty well...

Then I have 3 screens on my phone (which is what I use for class, invitationals, sermons and such...  1 screen for my NKJV Bible (the one the apostles carried around in the hip pocket of their Levis [8-|])...  I screen for my Sermon Builder outline (as noted above) and 1 screen for search...  which in class I find very useful.

I stay mostly in the Sermon Builder screen... but I can push one of the verse references in the Sermon Builder and bounce to my NKJV screen to that verse if needed. Then if I want to do a search I can scroll right or left to go to the search screen and do the search...

All in all it serves me well.  But I do believe being prepared is very important. I don't depend on books to do my lesson...  I do my lesson from the study preparation I have prepared.

Now... someone else probably has a better way.

Yes - you can define and save multiple layouts and then open the one you want from the tabs menu. See https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036270411-Logos-Mobile-Layouts for details

Any way to adapt the Quickstart layouts on the home screen to approximate what I want?

Once you have your layouts set up as you want them, you can add a card to them on the home page so you can access them with a single click.

If any of this doesn't work or doesn't make sense please advise

Wow! Perfect! As I explored the support link you gave me (THANK YOU!), I began to remember seeing the announcement--though I'd long forgotten.

The only place I struggled was in finding the Views Icon, which turned out to be (for me, anyway) hidden at bottom of the same screen where I add/subtract/rearrange which resources I have open. Once I finally found it, it was easy!

Thank you Graham, & Thank you, Faithlife!
