Indexing Stuck in Zero!
Why does indexing get stuck on 0 (zero) percent? After a while it goes away. It's like it did index the new downloads but most of the time it shows progress like 26%, 50%, 96%, etc. until it reaches 100%.
Lately, it's been getting stuck on Zero percent 0%

Ps. I know there are similar threads, but couldn't find them for some reason. Maybe the problem has not been resolved.

The Indexer program does some work to index some datasets for autocomplete purposes. This happens before the % number starts increasing. If a dataset has been updated, but not a normal library resource, then it would be expected behavior for the indexer to start up and exit before ever getting to some percentage.
Alternatively, your indexer could be crashing when it tries to index the first resource. A log file would be needed.

Now, where are the instructions to get a "log file" because the percentage went away, but it came back when I restarted the desktop app and it's still showing zero percent.

Thanks, Petah! I restarted again and now it worked. It’s at 92% so hopefully all is good. Next time it does that I’ll submit the logs.
