Is there a way to export or copy the contents of Sermon Manager to use elsewhere, Excel, Word, PDF, simple copy/paste. I would like to be able to share it with other members of my staff.
Yes. Open the sermon document in Sermon Builder and then . . .
I'm not wanting to print/share individual sermons, I'm wanting to share the contents of the Sermon Manager, if that makes sense?
Got it. I'm sorry for misunderstanding.
There's not really a great way to share your sermons database presently, but we plan to add print/export of your sermons database in Q1.
Thanks, I will look forward to this feature. It will be very helpful
I have done a screen capture, turned it into a .pdf and shared it. Not great but it works.
Thanks Rob. I've thought of that, may use it until the new feature is rolled out in Q1
Another question. (I'm new to using Sermon Manager, but am enjoying it). Is there a way to add a user defined column to the manager?

You can change which columns display and in what order they appear. But you can't add a custom column at this point. What column would you add? We have plans for more metadata and columns, so it's possible that we already have it covered.
I like to prepare 25% to 50% of a given sermon in advance and then complete it the week before it is preached. I try to stay about 10-12 Sunday's ahead with the 25% to 50% prep. It is helpful to be able to look at the sermon manager and see which ones have the initial prep completed. I am currently using the "Liturgical Year" column for my purpose, but it would be nice to be able to use column headings that matched my content.
Would a Status column with some more flexibility meet your needs?
That would be great. i could see drop down status’ of Planned, In Progress, Completed, Preached working extremely well for me personally. Or user defined labels fir more flexibility, for more users.
Phil, thank you for your interactions.
Phil and James, thank you both for your comments here. A status variable does indeed sound useful.
yes, this will be great. I just recently had to screenshot and share with our elders a sermon plan for the year, not a pretty way to do it. The export and/or print option will be great!

Phil,
With the last update you can no longer move the "week" column. It was possible to do so before the last update. I asked about this on a previous post.

Coming soon. Printing and exporting to a spreadsheet will be in 9.3 beta 1 in two weeks (on 1/16) and will ship on 3/2. You can easily export some or all of your database to a spreadsheet and share it with anyone you want to.
