I have some vegetables planted and other than that....My home is xeriscaped. I think the city is paying new homeowners to not plant grass in fact....

No, I do believe you that you got that weird link. I have no idea how it happened. When something surreal happens in real life, sometimes my only possible response is to be silly. Sorry, my joke wasn't directed at you but at the bizarre situtation you found yourself in.
So you clicked on a link in an email that came from Logos and it took you to a page with that tractor ad?
Can you provide a screenshot of the section of the email where the link is?
Also, if right-click on the link and select Copy Hyperlink (or whatever similar/equivalent command you find on that popup menu; it will depend on what version of Windows you have; or are you on a Mac?) and paste the result here.
Finally, rightclick somewhere else in the email (not on a link) and select View Source, save that text file, zip it, and attach it here.It would be interesting to get to the bottom of this, especially if it was really Logos's fault that they sent this strange link out to you.
UPDATE: I've signed up to get email when someone replies to this thread too, to see if I can reproduce the problem.

Maybe Logos can help us figure this out. Here are some possibly relevant quotes (I searched for mow NEAR grass):

In my original email received of the first post, there is a Sears.com link in it, clear as day. When I come to the web site and view, it's a logos.com link. Very weird!

Yes, this is exactly what I am seeing. I will put a pasting of the screen capture from the email with this sears.com link......but coming to the website.....its correct ....link that is...
it is typed correctly on Logos site....when sent. out the link is being altered somehow...

I guess I signed up to get this thread in email. When this posting came to my inbox....I clicked on the link and got a1600 dollar sears riding mower. Is this just strange or what. I clicked on the main posting and it was correctly linked to the forums and that link in the message went to the correct CP page.
the message just prior to yours had the word "Traction" - could some e-mail supplier be responding to key words by setting them to related advertising links?

Traction ~ tractor? Perhaps... I've seen weirder things. I've gotten spam email advertising some book on mysticism within moments after posting a comment on someone's Facebook status about mysticism. Could have been a coincidence, but I suspect not. It came from an email address with smresearch in it. That stands for social media research which is a whole new realm of marketing through social media.
But if an advertiser can go in and edit your emails and replace a legitimate link with a link to their website, that is so wrong!
I would seriously save that email and contact Logos about it. This should not be happening in their forum emails. Maybe they don't have control over it, though. Maybe it's happening on some server somewhere en route.
