Reftagger adds adjoining text to links and neutralizes them

We installed Reftagger a couple months ago, having used it in a previous company. In some of our blogs, it attaches some text to the link, thereby "neutralizing" the link to the verse. It seems to happen when a space, comma, and the word "way" follow the reference. Here is a link to an example: https://www.fbcatown.com/galatians-day-3/. We've tried deleting and changing the text, looked at the code for clues, etc. Any suggestions? Thank you!

What does "bumping for visibility 13" mean?

It means making the post appear higher in the queque so that it has a better change of being noticed. The number is simply to slip past the spam detector which flags identical messages.

M.J., I'm not sure I understand. Is this an answer to my question?

No, it is an attempt to encourage someone to answer your question by improving the chances that they will see it.

Thanks David. Yes, that is the example, and it has happened a few times with "we" in other posts.
