I can't figure out the chapters on this audio resource
Does anyone have The Imitation of Christ audio resource that I think recently came out? There might be another one too, which is why I gave the link...
Anyway, I can't figure out the chapter. In fact, by the time I got to what appears as Episode 11, the speaker said "Chapter 4." Episode 12 says "Chapter 5 - The Dignity of the Sacrament and the Priesthood"...I check the printed book, this is Book 4, chapter 5!
This audio book certainly does not seem to be in the order of the printed book unless I am missing something! Anyone have it? Help?

I don't have the resource so I can't check. I don't quite follow your description, however. "Track 11" comes just before "Track 12" and "Chapter 4" comes just before "Chapter 5." That sounds like it is "in the order." Is this simply a matter of not having tracks which line up with the chapter numbers (which is common in audio books) or are things actually "out of order?"

No, not quite. Maybe this picture helps with some explanation. The Imitation of Christ is 4 books, with chapters in each book as you can see in one translation I have, on the left. On the right is the Audio resource I questioned. There, the first 10 Episodes correspond to the first 4 chapters on the left, of Book One - as you might expect! However, things then go awry. Episode 11 of the Audio resource on the right is actually the 4th chapter of Book 4! It goes on from there. The point is, the episodes in the audio resource are not in the order of the chapters of the book from start to end, or anything close to it - almost random in how they hop around.

Ah. So it goes from one chapter in Book 1 to another chapter in Book 4. I wonder if this is an error on FL's part or from the publisher.

I also notice that the blurb is from a print edition and that the ISBN isn't valid.

about the ISBN: The product description has two listed. The second one is valid. I don't know why there are two listed. At the top of the product page, only the first one is listed and I was unable to find the resource on other sites (including the publisher's own page). Once I used the second one, I found the audio book (and even downloaded it from an audiobook subscription service).

This isn't my experience. I have just found that I own these resources. And have just moved smoothly from Chapter 10 to 13 and it is playing as I type.
My screen looks somewhat different from yours though?
