looking for free or nearly-free options for livestreaming (that is NOT FB or Youtube)...

I really like the Faithlife streaming option, but we are a very small church and would only stream 4 or 5 times a month.  the smallest option is way too much cost to justify streaming so that 3 or 4 people can view services.

We are already doing the slides/audio-recording and posting to faithlife after the service.  we are currently also using a MEVO (that was donated) to do FB live streaming of the message (we discovered that we can't do the whole service, or FB shuts us down, even with streaming licenses for music, so we stopped paying for that too.)

WIth my personal Logos purchases, and the church paying for Proclaim etc, It is a challenge to get more monthly dollars for something like this, but I don't want to leave out some of the folks that can't make it because of the current culture and health issues.

I have checked out all the streaming sites that FL supports in proclaim. many/most offered free trials, but then want to charge as much or more than FL's own streaming option. it is very frustrating. Any suggestions?

    Over here, churches simply stream to Youtube and it seems to be free, but you excluded it. Some things stream to the Vimeo platform, but I have no insights as to cost.

    I have never used Proclaim, so this suggestion is probably silly, but given the smallness of your audience, could you use Skype or some other free software than can handle 5-person group calls?

    We just bought a Mevo camera for $400 and hooked it up directly to youtube. You set up a livestream on your youtube page and then send the signal from the mevo camera. Other than the cost of the camera, the rest is free. This is the camera we bought - https://amzn.to/3ojJRVs but you can also buy the mevo pro or even buy a used mevo that's maybe a year old.
