Notes Tool is still so unpolished

The new note tool has so much potential but sadly I don't see anymore progress to polish this tool. Here are examples of how it is frustrating to use this tool:

Once I collapse the filter sections, it doesn't save my preferences. I have to collapse each time I use this tool.
Filter sections cannot be viewed in alphabetical order. I have dozens of tags and it is hard to find them by not viewing them alphabetically. I am planning to have more than 100.
If I have less than three tags, they are not displayed under all view option. Maybe it is a bug (Win 10, Logos 9.2.0.0014)
Tags are not searchable under top search box. If I create a tag for example "Abortion" and my notes do not use this particular word, this note does not come out at all in a search result. As a result, I would have to use two searches, the top one to search all notes + filter search to find tags.
What is the purpose of Label? It is not under search filter?

Are you referring to the Add Label (lower right of note) for user entered labels which add or extend the label search capability? Or are you seeing it elsewhere?

I've often wondered about the origins of this convention - it can be rather annoying even thought the search box is the intended solution.

Yes, how does it add or extend the label search capability? Where do I search for this label? How is it different from tags?

I have labeled sermons (that Logos did not) from the Early English History bundle. The search is a normal {Label Sermon} search. I also created my own Hymn label which I search with {Label Hymn} .... but you can create whatever is useful for your purposes.
