BUG: Inconsistent documentation makes creating search difficult
Example search:
- {Label Mitzvoth WHERE Applicable Today ~ true AND Classification ~ "Duties Toward Family" AND Command ~ "Be Fruitful and Multiply" AND Number ~ "P212" AND State ~ "Positive"}
Documentation:
Note that the attribute names are not consistent especially Categories/Classification. And the values (true) for applicability are not exactly spelled out. The results makes it difficult to build a search.

One first has to ask what Mitzvoth means[:S] Secondly, one cannot readily build this type of Search term. But how much redundancy is built in when you get it from the Context menu? e.g. {Label Mitzvoth WHERE Applicable Today ~ true AND Command ~ "Be Fruitful and Multiply"} and {Label Mitzvoth WHERE Applicable Today ~ true AND Number ~ "P212"} both give the same result. So the Number or Command parameter are sufficient for identification, although the positive nature of the Command may not necessarily be assumed, unlike Number P212.
My next thought is a Command "Have dominion ..." (Gen 1:26, 28), but there isn't one!
When I search for {Label Mitzvoth WHERE State ~ "Positive"} NABRE has 236 results when the Interactive states 248. "Negative" gets 195 when Interactive states 365! NRSV gives 241 Positive and 202 Negative. My LXX & Hebrew bibles each have 236 Positive and 191 Negative.

I obviously need to do more testing on this ...

I've created a case to review terminology.

or think one counts the number of commandments of God, the other counts verses. Verses often contain more than one mitzvot. But my testing hasn't yet confirmed the search is always accurate.

The Interactive for Ex 12:1-28 shows:
- 7 Positive and 5 Negative in 10 verses
- v10 has 1 Pos and 1 Neg and LHB reveals the 2 Labels
- v16 has 2 Neg and LHB reveals the 2 Labels
A Bible Search of LHB, Ex 12:1-28 shows:
{Label Mitzvoth} ==> 10/10 (10 results in 10 verses)
{Label Mitzvoth WHERE State ~ "Positive"}, {Label Mitzvoth WHERE State ~ "Negative"} ==> 10/10
{Label Mitzvoth WHERE State ~ "Positive"} OR {Label Mitzvoth WHERE State ~ "Negative"} ==> 11/10
{Label Mitzvoth WHERE State ~ "Negative"} has 1 result for v.16
{Label Mitzvoth} has 0 results for v.16
The problem with the {Label Mitzvoth} is that the whole verses is assigned to a Number i.e. N323 and N324 each cover Ex 12:16, even though the verse reveals 2x Labels.
This Label search should produce reliable, accurate results or be withdrawn.

Over my dead body. It is consistent throughout Logos that partial verse labels may cause inaccurate results but if one remembers that the interactive and the search use different units for measurement. That is certainly not unique. Standard Jewish resources generally reference the full verse as well. The 613 Mitzvot (Commandments) (jewishvirtuallibrary.org) or Judaism 101: A List of the 613 Mitzvot (Commandments) (jewfaq.org)
An understanding of the mitzvot is essential to understanding what "law" meant in the lives of ordinary Jews in Biblical times ... not because they would have necessarily listed an identical set but because it shows how Scripture is translated into praxis.[personal common sense not theological statement]

My comment only addresses the Search as I don't doubt the value of the data. Why assume that the Search is not fixable? Referencing a full verse should not be an issue as multiple labels in a verse are distinguished.
I've discovered the same problem with multiple user Labels applied to the full verse (replicating the Mitzvoth searchable label). There is no problem if the user labels are assigned to distinct blocks of text in the verse (by selecting the appropriate text).
