External storage for Android app?

It would be a game changer if I were able to use external (sd card) storage on the logos android app. My internal storage is very limited and I would love to be able to carry my entire logos library in my pocket. The logos amazon app allows external storage on my fire hd 10 but I can't carry a 10" tablet in my pocket. I use olive tree on my phone and not logos simply because they allow external storage. Please logos, make this possible!

The difference isn't in the Logos Amazon app and Logos Android app. These apps are identical.

The difference is in the way that Amazon Fire addresses the external SD card. The Amazon Fire actually treats it as an extension of the internal memory, whereas many Android phones (Galaxy etc.) treat it as an external storage by default.

I see, I didn't know that. I just wonder why logos/faithlife doesn't offer this option. I use Olivetree and tecarta Bible and they both allow external storage. Thanks for your reply.

Many apps on the android system allow moving to the SD card even when seen as external storage.

You might want to check in your Android settings whether your SD card can be formatted as "internal". Sometimes it's also possible to trick the phone into doing that, even when the option is not available on the surface.

(Be aware that the data currently on the card would be deleted.)

Many apps on the android system allow moving to the SD card even when seen as external storage.

Newer devices usually don't allow that any longer either.
