Reading Plans Issue & Help
First, I want to thank FL for the improved
RP in L9. I'm using it and am happy for the attention FL gave to improving it. With that said, I'm having a little trouble formulating a particular RP. Either I don't know how to put this together or RP has potential for further improvements-- probably both.
Here's what I'm trying to create:
2 OT CHAPTERS per DAY
1 NT CHAPTER per DAY
1 Ps. CHAPTER per DAY
1 Prov. CHAPTER per MONDAY
I came close to this, but RP broke some of it up into verses to stretch it into a year long plan.
Can anyone help?

1 Prov. CHAPTER per MONDAYThe only way you can create this as a single plan is to create the custom reading plan where you manually create each reading. If I remember correctly, you also really don't want to mess up a particular reading because you can't modify a reading once you have created it. I could be wrong on that, but the process is very laborious and not worth it (in my opinion).

I would recommend creating a separate plan for each of the 4 constraints listed (making sure to use the "read by chapter" option. Then combine them in a single custom plan by importing them at the desired start date.

Exactly. That tells us RP has room for further improvements.

Sounds like a decent workaround. What are the steps? How do we do it?

Create a new Generated reading plan from the Docs menu for each of the 4 conditions you specified. You'll want to make sure that each runs the same length (a year or whatever period you want).
Then create a Custom Reading Plan, select your starting date, and import:
Make sure you reset the date to the starting date before adding each plan.
After you have added all four plans, you can delete them from the Docs menu, and your plan is ready to go.

I created a custom reading plan to mirror this podcast I listen to. I created a custom reading plan, then you can add books , chapters or verses into a session. Usually a session would be that day's reading. For example, my plan shows for today, Jan 29, Exodus 4-5, Leviticus 4 and Psalm 46. When I was entering it, I typed in Exodus 4-5 then enter. It puts that reading into a session. Then I typed Leviticus 4 and pressed enter. That adds the reading to the session. Then finally I typed in Psalm 46 and press enter. I saw all three readings showing so I clicked on "add session". This adds that session to the list of sessions then clears for you to add another session. My plan has 365 sessions for every day of the year. I hope this helps.

- Plan 1 - 2 OT per day - Gen-2 Chron 7 | 2 Chron 8-Job, Eccl-Mal over 374 days/sessions by Chapter (excl. Ps and Prov). Start Mon Feb 8
- Plan 2 - 1 NT per day - Mt-Rev over 260 sessions/days by Chapter. Start Mon Feb 8
- Plan 3 - 1 Ps per day - Ps over 150 sessions/days by Chapter. Start Mon Feb 8
- Plan 4 - 1 Prov per Monday - Prov over 31 sessions/211 days by Chapter, each Monday. Start Mon Feb 8
Add each of the above to a new Custom Plan (ensure that each is added from Feb 8). Then:
- Add a revised Plan 2 that takes 374-260 = 114 days by including 114 chapters from NT e.g. Mt 1-Acts 25. It will start after the original Plan 2 finishes i.e. from Oct 26, and it should finish when Plan 1 finishes i.e. Feb 16, 2022.
- Add Plan 3 after the original Plan 3 finishes i.e. from Jul 8. That takes up 300 days
- Add a revised Plan 3 that takes 374-300 = 74days by including 74 chapters from Ps e.g. Ps 1-74. It will start after the above Plan 3 finishes i.e. Dec 5, and should finish when Plan 1 finishes i.e. Feb 16, 2022.
- Add a revised Plan 4 that takes the remaining weeks to Feb 16, 2022 i.e. 23 chapters of Prov starting Sept 13 & finishing Feb 14, 2022.
The revised Plans will bring all readings to the 374 days needed for the OT, and won't take long to accomplish. You can divide the OT readings differently as long as each division either side of the | character is exactly 374 chapters.

- Plan 3 - 1 Ps per day - Ps, Ps, Ps 1-74 over 374 sessions/days by Chapter.
- Plan 4 - 1 Prov each Monday - Prov, Prov 1-23 over 54 sessions by Chapter, each Monday (ending Feb 14, 2022)
Just add these Plans (in that order) to a Custom Plan, ensuring that each starts on Feb 8.
