BUG: Formating of Notes

Yes, I know that the copy & paste causes a note to lose its formatting. The note that I am working on is not particularly long. There are 3 formatting features in use:

  • a numbered list
  • italics
  • indentation to the right

When I entered the formatting initially, the program responded quickly. After a copy & paste cause it to lose its formatting, it is difficult to get the formatting accepted again. Often I get no response at all within one minute. Sometimes multiple attempts eventually gets it accepted (I'm talking about a single sentence (two lines) being indented). Sometimes I simply throw up my hands and report it as a BUG. Interesting, the final indentation was not lost after copy & paste

Interesting to see that the link http://milestoneworship.com/?p=161 has gotten messed up too.

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem of reapplying the formatting, although I did find that I had to click on the bulleted list or numbered list buttons twice before those were reapplied. Development is still working on a fix for the loss of formatting after copy and paste.

I tried capturing the problem through a SQLite browser. Unfortunately it truncated the text before I could see the actual problem. I then got impatient and corrected the notes via re-entry. If I recreate the problem, I'll put more effort into pulling the effective record out of the db. I'd noted the need for double entry as well.
