NIV Audio Bible Read Aloud Feature

Hi friends,

I was wondering whether anyone could confirm that if I were to purchase the 'Pure Voice Audio Bible - New International Version' Audio Bible, would you be able to use the 'Read Aloud' feature to read NIV passages on the desktop app? This feature works for me when using the 'English Standard Version Audio' bible.

Similarly, would purchasing the NIV Audio bible allow me to play the audio version of a reading plan on iPad OS?

Sorry for my brief answers last night... I was in a hurry.

The answer is no, and I don't know if Logos plans to do so. The "read along" feature requires special work and it works with the "official" audiobook for the translation. The ESV seems to have that, and the publisher provides it to us for free (but we don't actually own it, and it streams online rather than downloads). The LEB is owned by FL and they have an official audiobook. I know that there are many more audiobooks for the NIV and KJV. <If> this feature were to be made available, I'd assume it would work with only one of them... that FL wouldn't put much work in making multiple audiobooks "read aloud" enabled.

I don't think FL has really commented on this topic before. The audiobooks seem to be a hobby business, much like FLEB.
