Issue with the New Unger's Bible Handbook & Net Bible Notes (1st Ed.) Parallel Resources
I'm not sure what's going on, perhaps an indexing issue?
Both the New Unger's Bible Handbook and Net Bible First Edition Notes ONLY list each other in the Parallel Resources.
Interestingly, both are included in the Commentaries section of the Passage Guide and both link just fine to my bibles.
So why do they seem to have their own little exclusive "club" in Parallel Resources? It would be helpful if they were in the Commentaries PR instead so I can use the "toggle" (right and left arrow) along with all my other commentaries.

Just after posting this, I found this: BOTH are listed under the category Bible Notes when you use the Commentaries Section and sort by Type. And they are the ONLY TWO that are listed.
But it still begs the question as to why these TWO are coded or classified this way? I can work with them, now that I understand how they are grouped; just curious.

Two more examples of seemingly weird Parallel Resource "groupings", but under Bible Handbook (not Commentaries):

I can't give you a precise answer but resources appear in parallel resources primarily when you have created a collection and turned on the parallel resources option. There are also some FL default parallel resources based upon having a common index in addition to other criteria. However, my Unger offers 11 parallel resources so I suspect it is simply a matter of what you own.

Really? Maybe we're talking something different because none of the four resources I've mentioned in this thread are in any collections. I didn't even know you could turn the PR option on and off within collections. I thought the only place is within the resource itself when it's the active resource in a tab/panel.

Yes, I understand that the number of parallel resources are limited to what you own. I'm just puzzled as to these two particular "groupings."
FYI: I have the Gold 9 pkg in addition to about 400 resources that came over from WordSearch. So I have a fairly significant number of resources (over 1400 total).
What you said about "common index." Yes, that's what I'm curious about. I'm also wondering if perhaps the indexing that controls the parallel resources type hasn't been properly formatted for these four...because I think they are resources that have been migrated from WS.

I would suspect that these are the only resources with "Bible Notes" as their resource type in your library. WordSearch items that are not fully converted have missing indexes and are generally type:monograph.

I don't have either resource so I can't help here

You can always check the indexes available for a resource:
- open the panel menu (kebab on right)
- select information
- scroll down to indexes - near the bottom

You are probably correct in that these are the only two resources categorized by Logos as Bible Notes for purposes of parallel resources. And yes, I'm aware that some of my WS resources "came over" as Monograph eBooks with missing indexes. In fact, I have tagged those WStoConvert so I can keep checking to see if/when they ultimately convert to Logos Research Editions. I've been following the threads on this. Thanks.
And here's another handy way to check indexes: While in the resource, simply click Shift+CTRL+"I". I learned that handy shortcut from Morris Proctor. I use it all the time. [:)]
I checked the Bible Handbook and Hard Sayings resources and both are indexed for Bible. They are both Logos Research Editions. The Handbook is also indexed for English Headwords. So it seems both are in their completed status...which still leaves me puzzled as to how they are internally coded as far as parallel resources and why they are in their own little group.
Thanks for your help, though.

Monographs with Bible milestones like these will be listed under All Parallel Resources, which does not mix resource Types. So Bible Notes only will be shown with NET Bible Notes (you can see this if you enter type:bible-notes in the Library Find box). Similarly, All Parallel Resources will list only type:study-bible when you open a Study Bible.
The Commentaries section of Passage Guide allows a collection of Study Bibles, Bible Notes and Bible Commentaries because they are all indexed by Bible. If you tick Show in Parallel Resources for that collection, it will be listed alongside All Parallel Resources, so this is where resource Types can be mixed.

Excellent info, Dave. I used the type filter in Library...and yep. Those two (and the SBL Greek NT Notes) were selected.
I had never noticed the option, Show in Parallel Resources, in collections. Will have to think about how I might create some combo-collections. Thanks so much for your help!
