Is it true that the Reference attribute of the Bible Outline Label cannot span more than one Biblica

From oddities in search results for manually entered {Label Bible Outline} it appears that the processing does not allow an outline to cross a Bible book outline -- a rather odd limitations given several  books have been divided only recently (think 1,2 Kings or Ezra-Nehemiah). Is this an intentional limitation, a bug, or an unintentional "feature"?  Must one have multiple labels or will multiple reference attributes bypass this problem?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    6 bump to increase visibility

Do you mean that {Label Bible Outline WHERE Reference ~ <1Thess - 2 Th>} does not work for manually entered outlines?

It appears to work although my testing was very incomplete. But the FL supplied labels always split it into two parts.

If it is a combined Outline, both parts are highlighted, else the two separate Outlines are highlighted e.g. <Ezra-Nehemiah> in NAC vs. BKC. But the label will highlight only the <Ezra> part (or the <Nehemiah> part) in NAC when individually specified.

But that still doesn't explain why FL always split them. What functionality are they trying to support that isn't supported by a single label?

If you want e.g. <Titus> to highlight a combined outline for 1 Tim-2 Tim & Titus (in NAC) then use {Label Content WHERE Reference ~ <Titus>}. I find that only NAC combines outlines like this e.g. Ezra-Nehemiah, 1 Thess-2 Thess, 1 Tim-2 Tim & Titus. But {Label Bible Outline WHERE Reference ~ <2 Tim-Titus>} highlights only the named book(s).

But then there is the anomaly of {Label Content WHERE Reference ~ <Titus>} highlighting  1 Tim and Titus in Holman Bible Handbook!

The context I am thinking of is creating my own labels ... I already have more than 100 resources labeled to extend the FL coding. With what is on their plates, I don't expect them to get to outlines (or sermons) in the near future. However, I created mine with a single label crossing book boundaries.  I'm trying to determine if I need to go back and follow FL's lead.

And a single reference? You can create multiple references with a single label (you should be able to edit it from Notes).

Yes, a single reference; FL appears to have created 2 labels each with one reference.
