When will the Logos 9 Free and Logos 9 Fundamentals be released?
They haven't said but based on past releases we can expect the free L9 engine upgrade in the first quarter of 2021.
The 15% off launch discount ends February 1st. I'd guess the free version would become available the next day, but only FL knows.
Thanks!

My guess would be that L9 & V9 Fundamentals will be released when the free version comes out, with Petah's same caveat. (I note that Verbum 8 Fundamentals is presently $50 off, while L8 Fundamentals appears to be undiscounted.)
Basic is available.
Academic Basic is available if you are on the program.
Fundamentals is now also launched.
Probably front page later today.
I am on FL Connect Essentials and I bought the Gold Library upgrade for 9.
I checked the new free engine and the resources it includes. I was surprised to see I would pick up some things I don't have with the combo above.
Don't assume you have everything. Go to the free engine link above, and hide owned resources. You might be surprised like I was.
Picked up High Definition Commentary on Romans and one other.
It is available now. Check the Logos home page. You'll need to 'buy' the free Logos 9 Basic package.
Dark Mode. Come to papa.

This was a weird experience for me:
I already own a few Logos 9 packages and today I "purchased" (twice, actually) Logos 9 Basic which purportedly added HiDef Romans and Geneva Bible Notes to my library. However, the website tells me that I only have a temporary license but I am welcome to purchase (a third time) the package for $0.00.
Additionaly, only "Geneva Bible Notes" has downloaded to my desktop Logos app (with a temporary license, of course.) HiDef Romans is AWOL on my desktop but is available via the web browser.
Strange... Anyone else having a similar experience?
I only have a temporary license
any resources acquired via a “basic” package is a temporary license and dynamic pricing doesn’t apply on future purchases
any resources acquired via a “basic” package is a temporary license
Well, in that case I wan't my money back... Oh, wait... [;)]
Thanks, Alabama!
