Significant Changes?
There are several functions that are working differently this morning. First, the reading plan only displayed the text for reading, i.e., I couldn't scroll up or down from the text. It was a completely different format. Second, when searching in a commentary, the search window shrinks (not sure how to explain it any better). Were there changes?

I use this on an iPad, if that matters.

This is how the reading plan feature works on Logos 9 mobile app.
If you have it set up to read a chapter at at time its not that big of a deal, but if set to read over a number of sessions and it stops in mid paragraph it can be annoying. But after you click the finish button you have the option to continue reading.

Thanks Kenneth, I appreciate the response. This is hugely problematic. I not only use the reading plans for the Bible, but other sources as well. Is there anyway to encourage LOGOS to re-offer the feature? This seems a massive step back in making LOGOS books readable. It seems a remarkable oversight in not recognizing that a person reading the Bible wouldn’t want to scroll the immediate context.

As mentioned in the other thread you posted on this topic - https://community.logos.com/forums/p/198638/1151444.aspx#1151444 - you can gain access to the whole book bu using the Change Resource option
I don't understand why it was decided to limit the reading plan view to "chunks" but I personally don't see it as a significant issue.

Hi Graham, The “Change Resource” does not open the resource on an iPad. So it is a big deal (to me) that I can’t scroll back or forward to consider the context. I also use it for reading other sources. Sometimes those get broken in mid-paragraph. I just don’t find this change helpful.

I did get it to open on my iPad so went back to check
If I start a segment from a reading plan and select the Change Resource option it works, if I then try and do it again nothing happens!
Do you anything similar or are you not able to access the resource at all?
I consider this "first time only ability" to change resource to be a bug!

Yes, I tried to open the resource that way and it doesn’t let me. I just spoke with CS and they said this is a change to the mobile app. I am perplexed that they wouldn‘’t think it a problem to make it more difficult to scan the context while reading the Bible.

make it more difficult to scan the context while reading the Bible.
I think the idea is that when using a reading plan one is focusing on a specific section.

That may be. But it would seem that Bible study software would make the context more easily accessible, not more difficult. Especially since this is a change. I remember discussions a couple years ago when the folks at LOGOS sais they wanted to offer a reader‘s experience equal to or better than say a Kindle app. This sure feels like a step backward.
