Footnote 286 in Keener's Exegetical Commentary on Acts refers to pages 355-56 of Metzger's textual commentary whereas the discussion there is on page 311.

Does anyone have paper copies of either of these to check whether the error is in the original print versions or introduced in the Logos version?

I note the bibliography in Keener's commentary refers to the 1975 edition of Metzger's commentary whereas the one linked to in Logos is the 1994 version. And the issue might be due to that.

Just trying to track down where the problem was introduced

Thanks, Graham

    Graham,

I have paper copies of Keener's work.  It is as you indicated - footnote 286 is found on page 1494 of Volume 2 and refers to pages 355-56 of Metzger's textual commentary.  I checked the bibliography and it does reference the 1975 edition.

Thanks Kevin - really appreciate you checking this.

@Faithlife - are the linkages in the software to the wrong edition of Metzger's work? (As far as I can see there is only the one edition available for purchase)
