Use coupon only partially?

I had a very good interaction with CS on chat. Me: I purchaed a bunch of books yesterday and today, I got my rebate. Can I return them and repurchase them with the rebate? (my rebate was about $15 more than the purchase) CS said sure, we can do that. Do you want to purchase something else or leave a small balance on your rebate? I bought something additional and ended up getting a refund to my CC for the difference.

I'd still go through CS just to be sure.

I'd be interested in what you find out.  I contacted CS for the same thing and was told my one-time use coupon could NOT be split across carts from Logos and Faithlife.  I was told I had to use the entire coupon in a single purchase from a single cart, or lose the unused balance.

I have on several occasions used a coupon for a combined Logos and Faithlife eBooks order. On each occasion I've done via web chat. Last time I put the books in the 2 carts and asked them to process as one order. Previously I've supplied web links in the chat. Never had a problem doing this.

Good to know, Paul.  I wasn't doing a chat--I called in.  But that shouldn't make a difference.  I will be more persistent next time (politely of course).  

But just to confirm... the coupon you were using was a single/one time use coupon?

Correct.  I used my birthday coupon in December for a mixed order.  I put books in my 2 carts and contacted Faithlife by web chat and asked them to process as one order with the coupon.
