Help, no way to find out what I am entitled to after Logos adopted the "Base Package" model
New to this forum but a loooong time Logos user. Please bear with me if this is already answered but could not find a hit searching the forum.
Many years ago I purchased a license to use Libronix Bible software. Then a couple of years after that paid for the upgrade to Bible Study Library (RA) and then for the Bible Study Library (OC). But Logos "Base Package" model came afterwards and suddenly I realized that I wasn't eligible for any of those new packages at all. So, from having paid for a license I have fallen into the "free basic" available to all those who want to use Logos as a trial.
Not able to find an equivalent package -and apparently not even the "Fundamentals" one-, I've resorted to ask for help here. Am I entitled for an equivalent package aside from the free basic one used for trial?

Essentially, if you can demonstrate ownership, then you're still credited with the resources you bought. Ownership evidence could occur by the license file from your installation, the email address you previously registered under, or potentially box/registration number.

I don't think you will find you are entitled to a free base package.
Whenever a major version is released - Logos 7 / 8 / 9 - the fact that someone might have a Silver (for example) package at one release doesn't entitle one to a Silver package at the next release.
We do keep the resources and features we paid for but if we want additional resources (as included in the new base packages) or additional features (as in the feature upgrades) then they need to be purchased.
If we are content with the resources and features we have already purchased then we can go with the free Basic Package which provides the latest version of code and our existing resources and features work.
Does this help at all - or am I missing your point?

For clarification: Users don't get free upgrades from one "package" to another. Instead, the agreement is that you pay for resources only once. So in my case, my first purchase was the Logos 4 Platinum package. I didn't automatically receive the L5, L6, L7, L8, or L9 "platinum" packages. I <did> receive a discount on packages based upon what I already owned. I still own the L4 Platinum package, and various other ones (not necessarily at the "platinum" level).
In your case, you will need to establish ownership of resources. Once that happens, you will be able to purchase any package you want at a discount <IF> the resources you already own are in those packages.
If you decide you don't want to make a purchase, you can get "Logos 9 Basic," which will provide you with some "free to use" resources. Once you establish ownership of your previous purchases, those resources will be in your library as well.

When I upgraded to Silver (long time ago), I was upset for a long time that when a new release came, I didn't have Silver any more. It felt like a loss. From a marketing standpoint, I think Logos / Faithlife may have missed that the emotional investment that users like me have when we buy into a "package."
But I still own all the resources. Even those of the Languages pack that I bought with 1.6 (1994 timeframe). I haven't lost ANY of them. On this, Logos has done exceptionally well.
And I'm coming I'm finally coming to terms with this fact: the packages are only a label attached to a collection of resources that were put together as part of a marketing effort to sell the new features of a new release. New release, new package. That it has a label to which I attached significance is really my problem. Not theirs, as they've tried to be clear--no matter my emotional investment in Silver, Gold, Diamond, or whatever.
I still own the Logos 4 Silver package. It just isn't Logos 9 Silver.
The last piece of the picture is their dynamic upgrade pricing, which tries to give us credit for the resources in the "now" packages that we DO own, as a part of a more attractive price for the new "equivalent" (or "upgrade" or "downgrade") package. So that what we're mostly paying for is the "new" in our price for a new package. All in all, they're really tried to be fair to us.
Best of all, their Sales folks have ALWAYS given me better pricing than I'd have been able to get shopping on my own, so I really encourage you to call them & explore your options, as the other posters have suggested.

Perhaps is may be easier to understand the changes in marketing if you think of rebranding rather than adopting a different model. (RA) and (OC) were in essence base packages. You still own all those resources (if you backed up your Library to Faithlife servers OR can provide documentation that you purchased them). The L9 Core Engine is now free which should allow you to search and read all the resources you already own. Datasets and Resource upgrades are dynamically priced based upon what you already own.

What you are entitled to for free is every resources from the packages you have purchased and the free rentals of Logos Basic (and Verbum Basic). It is my understanding that every Libronix account that was synced with the server back in the 2000's still exists as a Logos account. If you have multiple accounts, you can contact Logos Customer Service and ask to merge them into one account. In addition you are entitled to the free resources that Logos has available...
By your story, you may be a bit older customer than I. My first package was Original Languages (RA) on Libronix 2.0. They then had a deal on Original Languages (QB) when Libronix 2.1 came out, and Original Languages (OC) when 3.0 came out. These were flat rate upgrades, getting the new libraries with resources to support the new features.
The thing is that some users got a lot more for that flat upgrade price than others, since some users already had most of the resources in the new libraries because they had been good customers. And so Logos was able to offer special prices that depended on what exactly you already owned. They call this Dynamic Pricing. This as been a great way for those of us who have large libraries to add key resources without paying for the duplicate content. But it has also been more confusing, since you have to look to see what all the options are, and what they cost for you...
Along the way, Logos has renamed the packages, added denominational packages, and separated the library and feature upgrades, and added rental as well as purchases. This has allowed more flexibility - and encouraged more people to become Logos users. But it has become even more confusing with so many different choices.
To make a long story short...
If your account "Leo Ram" is the same one you have used for all your Logos/Libronix purchases, just "buy" Logos 9 Basic. You will have all the books you ever purchased from them with an engine that works on modern computers that don't have Internet Explorer 6...
If you have your purchases split between various email addresses and want all your books in one account, contact Logos Customer Service to request that your accounts be merged. Also contact CS if you had a Wordsearch/Bible Explorer account with a different email to catch those books too.
If you are happy with you you have at no extra cost, GREAT!
If you are interested in adding some more books and features, consider Logos Fundamentals, or one of the Logos Starter packages. Logos Fundamentals does not normally have any dynamic pricing breaks, but is currently on sale. The price for Logos Starter does have dynamic pricing, so the price will not be accurate if you are not logged in with the account for your Libronix Bible Study Library.
You may want to get in the habit of checking https://www.logos.com/free-book-of-the-month every month to see if there is a free book in which you have any interest. There are also other free books that come out through Verbum and Faithlife too.

It might help to think about it like standalone software packages. If you own a standalone product, you are entitled to the updates used to keep that version functioning as long as it is supported. But you’re not entitled to get the next upgrade. You have to pay for that.
So, owning MS Office 2016 won’t give you the features of MS Office 2019. Owning Logos 8 Silver won’t give you the features of Logos 9 Silver.
