Parallel Resource Set: Feasting the Word
For the Feasting of the Word Series, when I click the Parallel Resource Sets button it shows all the volumes I own in that series, even those that are not connected to the text. It is time consuming to click on each one to see which is the relevant one. If it isn't it opens to the first page of the book.
Is there anything I am missing here so that the parallel resource set only shows the relevant book?

Which resource are you showing in the screenshot?

The New Interpreters Bible - All the other resource sets only show one volume/book. It's only Feasting the Word that is showing all the volumes.
Even if I am in another resource, say Pillars, or Word Biblical Commentary, it still shows all the volumes.

Except when I click on all except one, it opens to the first page of the book because it can't link to the text. If there was relevant content it each one I wouldn't mind going through each one.

The easiest way I found to use the Feasting on the Word series, is to know when your text falls in the Lectionary Cycle. Your text from John 2 is found in Year B Volume 2.
I have this series prioritized in the Passage guide and have found it is often the first volume listed has the passage I need. All others may have a scriptural citation of the text.
They also have a Feasting on the Gospels that I find very helpful.

I'm curious if you've found satisfaction here specifically related to your initial question. I've asked a related question and I gave up too soon accepting the answer someone gave me. It turns out, though, that it is not working ask expected. I will repost my question pending on whether you're happy with your results.

No, the present system is not satisfactory. Parallel resource sets should only display books for which there is a parallel reference, not books that also include a citation of the text, as these open at the book’s title page.

The problem is that you are trying to access them by Bible reference while their primary index is by liturgical date. The Biblical references are not in canonical order which leaves the system a bit confused when the passage is not exactly matched. When I used Feasting on the Word to drive a commentary on Isaiah, I get the expected results; when I use the commentary on Isaiah to drive the partial and nonconsecutive Feasting on the Word I get semi-meaningless matching similar to your complaint. Unfortunately, there is no good solution beyond recognizing that even the computer has problems executing a logical impossibility.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

There is no problem with liturgical date being the primary index. The actual issue is that there is a problem with the metadata associated with these resources that leads to the observed behaviors (the ones you and M.J. are reporting). Unfortunately, we don't have a good way to solve the problem at this time.
You are correct that it should not behave this way, and I'm sorry for the difficulty this causes you.
A possible workaround might be to put one of the Feasting on the Word books in a link set with the New Interpreters Bible, or use the multi-resource view settings to add the Feasting on the Word series to the New Interpreters Bible.
