Attaching a file boots me out of a post

I've tried to reply to my most recent post (MSS counts) and when I try to add an image I'm takin to a "new" window. But when I use the arrow key to go back it completely deletes my post.
It does not take me to the "old" way of attaching a file. Is this new?

At the bottom right you can click Cancel to return to post, or you can select something from your assets and then choose Insert, also at the bottom right. You can upload something new from this screen if it does not already exist.
Yes it is a new for use in the forums but has been in Logos for a while for media.
