He means the margins seem unnecessarily wide.
Why? When portrait mode doesn’t waste so much space. This is REALLY annoying. Logos, please fix. Thank you.Jerry, do you have your Margins set appropriately for the device you are on? I'm not seeing this problem on my phone. Are you on a phone or a tablet?

I guess there may be some advantage in having a consistent display when doing group work?

the reading looks perfect on my iphone - margins are perfect. But on the ipad there is such a difference between portrait and landscape. I looked at the reading. settings and I don't see any options that can cause such a discrepancy.

"Bump" is a term used (in the UK at least) to affectionately refer to the unborn child. MJ was making the point that your post was pregnant with anticipation.
