Bible Reading Plan

I made a custom bible reading plan everything is all set up. But I plan on using this plan more than once. but the problem is it wont reset progress of completed days. I have tried editing it and it still stays completed. I don't want to "Mark as unread" for everyday every year. That would be crazy and time consuming. Is there a way to do this faster and more efficient.

Hi Ashley welcome to the forum!

If you make a copy of it, it will reset the completed readings in the copy.

You can make a copy by finding it under Docs, right clicking and choosing Duplicate. After a few moments the new document will appear. From this duplicate, you can adjust the start date.

I would not recommend adjusting the original plan, or using it at all for that matter, due to having previous plans interval periods change on modification of the plan, and then having to recreate the whole thing again.

Using 'Adjust plan from here...' will destroy a custom plan that is not a 7 days a week daily plan, moving everything to a daily plan, which is more than an annoyance if you have spent many hours creating a weekly plan for example.

I always work on a copy of a plan, or create a new custom reading plan and then import another custom plan I have already created. That way, the original plan is never modified, but can be used as a template for later plans.

Thank you so much for the help. I made a copy of it and made it a template for the future. Just made it so it don't show up on the homepage and in the bible.
