Logos Desktop on Windows 10 ARM (Microsoft Surface Pro X w SQ2 Processor)
They have enabled 64 bit on their insider builds and it will be coming to the official build of windows 10 on this tablet.
Is there ANY word on running Logos on it?

Hi Bradley. I know that Microsoft is working on 64 bit emulation. I'm asking if anyone has tested it, either users or FL Staff.

I have tested it. For me, I just get the splash screen when the program starts up, and then it crashes
I am hopeful as Windows ARM emulation improves, these crashes will be eliminated

Loads and runs decently on Windows 11 insider build just released. Galaxy book s with 8CX arm processor. A bit buggy but works. I am sure it will get much better by official release of Windows 11 this fall

Working great on Windows 11 Insider Build on a dinky old Samsung Galaxy Book2. It actually works far better than Logos 8 in 32 bit mode on Windows 10 previously --- that was unusable. Now it is slow but usable. This is probably the lowest end Windows on ARM device still in use by common folks today... 4GB RAM, SnapDragon 850 (unless anyone is still on the HP Envy x2 with the SD835).

Do you mind sharing which version and bit you loaded that works so well, or what other readers would recommend? I have a Gen 1 Surface Pro X and would love to test out the desktop version. I have the Windows 11 pre-release build on it.
Thank you

There is some potential hope for those interested in Windows on ARM as a more viable general purpose option. Of course what the reality turns out to be remains to be seen. https://www.laptopmag.com/news/microsoft-and-amd-reportedly-working-on-next-gen-arm-processor-for-windows-laptops
